Sweater Pillow Set Pale Green Cable

The intricate central panel of celtic cables of a pale green cotton sweater have been up cycled into a set of knit sweater pillows.

This set of pillow covers will fit two 16-inch pillow inserts. I recommend using feather inserts for a softer pillow and easier insertion into this style cover. Please note these covers actually measure a bit smaller than the insert recommended. They are cut to the insert size, but when sewn lose a small portion of their dimension. This insures a plumper pillow.

The covers are backed with a coordinating embossed fabric with a quilted motif which you can see in Picture 5. Closure is with an envelope style.

Made from an up cycled cotton sweater, the yarn used is pale green. One cover's central panel is a wide celtic cable with a smaller cables on each side. The second cover is an all-over pattern of rib stitch.

All inside seams have been serged to prevent raveling.

I have machine washed and dried the original sweater and the fabric used for the backing. You can do the same, as needed, using a gentle cycle and cold water.
