Mittens Gray

Oh dear...all Mrs. Bennett's daughters have lost their mittens...and don't know where to find them. Perhaps it was at the pond where Lizzie had organized a skating party? They remembered taking them off to drink the hot tea Mr. Darcy had brought for them. Nevermind, I have yarn. I have needles. I will knit them more. However, you don't have to wait. I have already knitted several pretty pairs of these "cozies" for your hands!

Made of a strand of 100% wool and a strand of mohair knitted together, you will not find a cozier pair of mittens to keep your hands toasty this winter. These mittens are one size and will fit most women's hands. They measure approximately 7-inches around at the widest part of the hand. From the ribbed cuff to the tip they are approximately 9 1/2-inches. (If you feel you need a smaller or larger size, contact  me and I will custom knit a pair for you.)

An intricate celtic cable covers the top portion of each mitten. Please see my matching Cabled Cloche, which is listed in Winter White, but I would love to custom knit one for you to match your mittens. You will find it here:

This listing is for the gray mittens pictured and are knitted and ready to ship. They are a silvery, light grey. I also knit them in all ten colors shown in the final picture. 

As with all wool/mohair knits, these mittens should be hand washed in cold water and laid flat to dry.
